Working tube with the head of a Chinese man wearing a hat. The head is in a chamber that can be filled with a fluorescent liquid and is sealed with a small cork. There is some discolouration to the inside of the chamber at the back, due to the evaporation of previous contents.

Working tube containing an uranium glass urn. When working the jug can be seen to be overflowing and draining into a hole at the base of the tube.
